I have always loved to cook, and friends often showed up around dinner time at my home in Noe Valley. When a couple of them opened a cafe in 1981 they asked me to make soup for them. They thought my cooking would help their cafe be a success. It did, and I was off on an adventure. I soon learned that cooking as a business had many challenges that were different from those at home: production and delivery systems, marketing and sales, regulation, and product development. Meeting these challenges, and building a business, is both exciting and satisfying. The biggest challenge was to put food on the tables of my customers that was just as healthful, fresh and delicious as the food on my own table. Today I make over 100 varieties of soups, salads, entrees, and savories. All continue to be without artificial additives or preservatives. I hope you will find everything just  marvelous!
